1 This standard prescribes requirements and methods of sampling and test for plastics graduated and ungraduated beakers for laboratory use. It is applicable to beakers having a tapered or a non-tapered form. The non-tapered form may, however, have a slight taper to facilitate mould release during manufacture.
2 The standard was originally published in 1982. While reviewing the standard, it was decided to revise this standard by adopting to ISO 7056: 1981 in order to maintain the uniformity in the product worldwide and also to facilitate the global trade.
