1 This Indian Standard which was originally published in 1970 and was based on the method contained in ISO/R 937: 1969. Subsequently, it was revised in the year 1996 in order to harmonize the standard with ISO 937: 1978. This second revision of the standard has been undertaken to harmonize with the latest version of ISO 937 under publication as document ISO/ FDIS 937 and is an identical adoption of the ISO document under dual numbering.
2 This document specifies a reference method for the determination of the nitrogen content of meat and meat products by the Kjeldahl principle.
