It covers guidelines for the selection of raw materials, manufacturing techniques, packaging, transportation, installation, maintenance, and end-of-life management of precast products. The objective is to minimize adverse environmental impacts while maintaining structural performance, worker safety, and compliance with Indian building and environmental regulations.
The standard is intended for use by:
a) Precast concrete manufacturers;
