i) To study and examine the ISO documents circulated by the ISO/TC 34/SC 16, from time to time and provide comments to cast to vote.
ii) To examine the standards published by ISO/TC 34/SC 16 and provide recommendations for their adoption as Indian Standard.
iii) To prepare Indian standard points in the plenary meetings of the sub committees.
iv) To suggest suitable experts in various ISO ‘Working Groups’ of ISO/TC 34/SC 16.
v) To provide recommendation to encourage Indian stakeholders to participate in Inter Laboratory Study (ILS) initiated by the different working groups of ISO/TC 34/SC 16 for statistical analysis for the validation of ISO standards under revision. |
