- Scope : FORMULATION OF STANDARDS: a) TO COVER VARIOUS ASPECTS OF PLANNING IN RURAL AND URBAN AREAS, BUILDING BYELAWSINCLUDING ZONING REGULATIONS, PRIMARY ELEMENTS IN THE DESIGN OF BUILDINGSFOR VARIOUS USES, BUILDINGS MODULES AND MODULAR CO-ORDINATION, ARCHITECTURAL AND BUILDING DRAWING PRACTICES AND PLANNING OF DRAWING OFFICES b) TO ASSIST IN THE HOUSING PROGRAMME FOR ALL GROUPS, RURAL HOUSING, ETC NOT COVERED BY OTHER COMMITTEES; CO-ORDINATION OF WORK IN THIS AREA BY OTHER COMMITTEES, STANDARD REQUIRED FOR IMPLEMENTING HOUSING PROGRAMME WITHIN THE PROVISIONS OF NATIONAL HOUSING AND HABITAT POLICY OF THE GOVERNMENT
