| SCOPE : | Formulation of standards on terminology for conveyor, elevator and transmission belts; pulleys and belt drives of various sizes and shapes particularly grooved pulleys and V- flat pulleys and belts. b) Formulation of standards for gears, transmission chains; shaft ends and axle heights; splines and serrations; clutches and couplings and keys & keyways. c) Co-ordination of work with: (i) ISO/TC 14 Shafts for machinery and accessories (O-Member) (ii) ISO/TC 41 Pulleys and belts including V-belts (P-Member) (iii) ISO/TC 41/SC 1 Friction (P-Member) (iv) ISO/TC 41/SC 4 Synchronous belt drives (P-Member) (v) ISO/TC 60 Gears (P-Member) (vi) ISO/TC 100 Chains and chain sprockets for power transmission and conveyors (P-Member) (vii) ISO/TC 101 Continuous mechanical handling equipment (P-Member) |
